Patients with heart failure need continue monitoring to reduce complications and exacerbations. ROSA is a virtual nurse specialised in cardiology that guides these patients thanks to a chatbot system, a dialogue system that patients have on their phones. ROSA asks daily questions about the general health of patients and their overall well-being to early detect complications of their medical condition. ROSA asks the patient questions to gather data and establish a personalised health plan (frequency of questions, pieces of advice) and launch alerts to doctors in case of any abnormal answer. The patient may also start a conversation such as “I do not feel well’ or “My blood pressure is high”).

Thanks to this system patients have more control over their own health and doctors can detect medical complications more effectively.
