Ulster University presented a poster entitled “A Review of Covid-19 Symptom Checker Mobile Applications” at the 23rd International Conference on Human-Computer Interaction, HCII 2021, conducted virtually from the 24th to 29th of July 2021.

 

The accepted paper provides a review of several government-endorsed Covid-19 symptom checker apps that are available for citizens in the UK and EU countries. This includes an analysis of factors that can influence user acceptance of Health apps, including the functionality and accessibility of the apps, privacy, transparency and trust.
